Cal Lutheran University Hosts the LA Rams

Now that the Rams are moving back to LA, they need a temporary home. That’s where California Lutheran University comes in.

The Rams are planning to build temporary practice facilities on the Thousand Oaks campus in order to hold their year round training. The plan utilizes some undeveloped space that the university was planning to turn into sports facilities anyway so it seems like a good deal all around.

Erisbel Arruebarrena suspension

It sounds like Erisbel Arruebarrena is suspended from the Dodgers again for this year. He was suspended last year as well and appealed his way down to a 30 day suspension then. I can only assume he won’t be so lucky this time.

It’s a shame we might end up missing out on new talent due to these contract issues so hopefully whatever is going on gets sorted out soon.

Luke Walton as Lakers Head Coach

Once a player for the Lakers, Luke Walton is leaving the Golden State Warriors to become the new Lakers head coach. We’ve had a lot of former players as head coaches over the years so it will be interesting to see what he brings to the table.

Hopefully he will be able to re-invigorate the team and bring us some wins so Los Angeles can get back into the spotlight.

Could it be the Cubs time to shine?

I may not live in Chicago, but quite a few eyes are being turned by the incredible start to the 2016 season the Cubs are having. It’s been over a century since the cubs last won a World Series and they seem out to get it this year.

The cubs are currently scoring the most runs and allowing the least, skyrocketing them to the top of the charts. Only time will tell if they can continue to dominate, but watch out – 2016 could very well be the Cub’s year.
