Coinmama, one of the largest crypto brokerages in the world with 1.3 million users, was the victim of a security breach on February 15. As a result, 450,000 email addresses and passwords were leaked in this huge global hacking attack involving 24 websites and 747 million records.

However, no cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple were stolen from user wallets. The security team at Coinmama continues to investigate the attack.

The gloves are off! For years, Michael Jordan reigned as the greatest player in NBA history, followed later by Kobe Bryant and now LeBron James.

Scottie Pippen says not so fast.  During an appearance on ESPN’s First Take, he did not compare James favorably to Jordan or Bryant, saying no one will ever be as good as Jordan. But if he had to choose, Bryant is closer than LeBron will ever be to Jordan’s skill and instinct.

Forbes has come out with an interesting article on how to achieve long-term happiness. Turns out the way to be happy in life and business is to embrace the growth mindset.  What does that mean? Well, there are two types of people in this world: those with a fixed mindset and those with a growth mindset.

Those with a fixed mindset aren’t curious and aren’t willing to seek out change, always struggling to recover from setbacks that naturally occur. By nature, they are resistant to change and reluctant to learn, with zero interest in self-improvement.

On the other hand, those with growth mindsets crave self-improvement, having the ability to realistically assess where they stand, accept their shortcomings, and change their behavior. They can more easily demonstrate self-awareness and self-compassion, treating their failures and challenges as opportunities for growth.

The prediction is that the Bitcoin price could one day reach $10 million, becoming the new gold standard and thus solving the world’s debt crisis. Pretty lofty prediction, huh? Just so you know, at the end of 2018, total world debt was an estimated $247 trillion, compared to $317 trillion in total world wealth.

The LA Lakers chose Ivica Zubac as the 32nd pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, with not too many expectations of greatness.  After all, he was only 19 years old, hailing from Croatia having only played two years of pro basketball in Serbia.

At the same time, the Lakers took Brandon Ingram with the second overall pick in the same draft, which is where all the attention was naturally going.

Nevertheless, Zubac thrived in the Las Vegas Summer League and became an instant fan favorite. He had a solid rookie season but his sophomore season did not go quite as planned, as he struggled a lot. He’s on his next comeback, but through it all, he says he never doubted his abilities.

Well, they did it. They beat the Saints in overtime last night, sending them on their merry way to the greatest showdown in sports lore: the Super Bowl. Super Bowl LIII to be specific. It was definitely a nail biter, but the next game in two weeks should prove to be even more so as they battle the New England Patriots for the most coveted title in the NFL. I’ll be watching.
