It’s par for the course, but Saturday, August 18 saw crypto markets in another slump, with some coins wavering following weekly gains. The total market cap decreased to about $210 billion. Bitcoin was down 1.79 percent over the last day, while Ethereum was trading at $291, suffering a 3.7 percent loss over the last 24 hours.

Ripple, which is the third biggest altcoin by market cap, also took a hit by six percent on the day, trading at $0.31.
